2nd Brand new album from Blitar city death metal aggressor, SICKENING ASPHYXIATION called " Mental Downfall - The Logic Erasing ", You'll be hearing tremolo heavy, often dissonant, riffs without any clear melody or rhythm to them, which appear formless under the relentless extremely blastbeats and the shrieks and growls from the different vocalists. All of this is reinforced by a high gain, very midrangey and not quite hi-fi guitar tone, is just an unstoppable beast of revving rhythmic power chords and blazing riffage and fuckin tune reinforced. Astoundingly fast, they’re technical as all hell with tier after tier of minutely timed scale-dissecting, and, with every record, an other-worldliness crawls about, one that quickly leeches you inward. once again manufactured a writhing, quasi-sentient specimen that’s all teeth, all claw, and pure hunger. a gillion notes that effectively march in line, battling with much force and purpose !!!

Mari bersikap ilmiah sejenak.

Between Collective Neurosis and the Orchestra of Social Anger Let's start with a mild diagnosis: acute hyperideation. This cool term is usually used to describe a brain that is overstocked with ideas, like a logistics warehouse crammed with expired goods, ready to collapse at any moment. In the world of mental health, this condition often leads to creative psychosis—where logic is parked in the backyard, left to gather dust, while “crazy” ideas are paraded like a carnival of mental illness. This is where modern humans find themselves: brains full, wallets thin, and social strata in disarray. As a result, all ideas—both rotten and brilliant—mix together, then explode in musical form—not a beautiful Mozart-style symphony, but more like the screams of a psychiatric ward patient recorded with guitar distortion and drum rhythms resembling the heartbeat of someone suffering from existential tachycardia.
Let's be scientific for a moment. In psychology, music is often considered a form of catharsis, a release of pent-up emotions. However, in the real world, this music has turned into a crude surgical tool for the soul: splitting open the skull of social pressure, digging out the contents of frustration, then spilling it onto the stage with blood, sweat, and profanity. Foul language, cursing, and unfiltered shouting are not just wild expressions. They are actually maladaptive coping mechanisms: ways for the brain to trick itself into not actually exploding into permanent mental disorder. In other words, cursing on stage is a cheaper “generic antidepressant” than psychological therapy or prescription drugs.
We live in an era where social stratification resembles a diagnosis of schizophrenia: reality is split in two. At the top, an elite group dances with cold champagne; below, the masses squat and gulp stale sachet coffee. From this inequality springs chronic resentment—a pain that cannot be numbed by cheap humor or e-commerce advertisements. This inequality is a “collective psychopathy”: lacking empathy, knowing no guilt, yet demanding obedience. Then came loud music, full of profanity, as a social autoimmune response, where society fights its own disease, even if it sometimes ends up attacking itself.
Every musical verse, every line of profanity, is actually a medical record of humans on the verge of mental decompensation. The symptoms are clearly recorded there: political paranoia, economic depression, and the delusion that social justice is just a campaign myth. However, that is precisely where a new form of art is born: structured collective madness. Ironically, when the human mind is deemed “nearly shattered,” that is precisely when creativity reaches its peak. As if sanity is overrated, and a touch of madness is the essential vitamin for surviving on a planet growing increasingly absurd.
The accumulation of ideas in the human brain is not merely a sign of “intelligence,” but can be an early sign of a psychiatric breakdown. However, when all of that is poured into music, a kind of mass therapy is born. It is brutal, barbaric, but honest. It is full of insults, but it actually makes people feel more human. Simply put: loud music and profanity are an emergency ventilator for souls nearly suffocated by the social system. So, before you rush to label it as madness, understand this: within it lies the remnants of sanity struggling against total destruction.
